The Dock
The Dock offers an ideal combination of high-end architecture, a unique waterfront location and urban dynamism. The building, with a total of 127 owner-occupied apartments, was designed by KAAN Architects. KAAN is known for buildings with clear elaboration. The natural stone facade, aluminum railings and subtle color nuances give the building a rich character.
Unique location
The Dock lies between Docklandsweg and the Buiksloterkanaal. This provides a contrast of urban bustle on one side and natural tranquility of the green bank on the other. From all the apartments on the northeast side of the building you have a view of both the communal courtyard garden and the wide water of the Buiksloterkanaal. The shape of the building and the angled windows provide an optimal view and light into your living room.
In the apartments on the other sides of the building you will enjoy an optimal position on the sun. Will you go for a southeast, southwest or northwest facing apartment? In all cases, you have all the space you need on your terrace or balcony. Toward the top, the balconies transform into elongated terraces creating an elegant roofscape. And at the top, you'll have a great view of the new city district and, further up, you'll see the A'dam Tower showing off on the IJ.
City apartments
The Dock is designed with city apartments with elongated balconies on Docklandsweg and spacious apartments with corner balconies on the waterfront. Coming home in style
The main entrance to The Dock is on Docklandsweg. The entrance is slightly recessed, keeping your visitors dry while they wait for the door to open. Get your mail inside, in the vestibule. The entrance leads from the street to a glass stairwell overlooking the water and garden. The stairwell with a full height void is the central hallway and meeting point for residents. The void is an eye-catcher and provides a beautiful light and is bright and luxuriously finished with a natural stone floor and paneling and beautiful white stucco. There are a total of 39 car parking spaces reserved for specific building numbers. That reservation is a first right to buy. The buyers of those building numbers are under no obligation to purchase the parking space. The purchase price of a parking space ranges from € 52,500.- to € 55,000.-. The motor spaces have a purchase price of € 15,000.-.
