About the location and neighborhood:
The apartment is located in the popular Buiksloterham district, in a central location on the quiet northern side of the IJ. The young neighborhood is still under development and is in the midst of transitioning from an industrial business area to a circular residential area focused on living and working. The industrial past is still evident from the proximity to the NDSM wharf and the many emerging hospitality venues and other amenities that are settling in the former industrial buildings. With the nearby ferry, it’s only a 10-minute bike ride to Amsterdam Central Station and the city center, which are also easily accessible by public transport and car. But you also have the hotspots in Noord at your fingertips (e.g., Café Cress, De Klaproos, Metro, Pllek, Loetje, and many more) and, of course, you can find all your daily amenities in the immediate vicinity.
