The Apartment
We start at Lombardkade, where you enter the neat closed porch with mailboxes and stairs to the storage rooms in the basement. But you're eager to step into your own apartment!
Rightly so, because as soon as you open the front door and enter the hallway, you're immediately surprised by the amount of light and playful lines. You hang your coat in the hallway where we also find the cabinet with the electric installation. Then you walk into the living room and place your work bag on your desk at the front left of the living room. A fantastic place has been created here to work: quiet, light, green outside, very inspiring. A workspace that blends perfectly into the living room.
In the livingroom there is plenty of light coming from both the front and the backside. Some walls have been removed so that light from the original kitchen windows also enters the living room.
The living area is at the front, a spacious cozy area where you can enjoy reading or watching TV. Then we walk to the back where a fantastic kitchen is integrated into the living room. It looks more like furniture than a kitchen, extremely stylish. Immediately noticeable is a wonderful play of lines. You have to see it yourself; you'll find it mesmerizing!
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob with integrated extraction system, stainless steel sink with mixer tap, large worktop, and storage space on both sides! Against the opposite wall is a larger cabinet setup with a fridge, freezer, combi oven, and more storage space. At the back is space for a nice large dining table to enjoy meals with friends and play games all evening.
The hallway has been fully incorporated into the apartment, giving a very playful and spacious effect. The bedroom at the back is about 11 m² in size, large enough for a double bed and a large wardrobe. From the bedroom, you have access to the east-facing balcony where you can enjoy morning sun!
The bedroom is separated from the hallway by a sliding door that slides fully from left to right in the room so it can also cover the large window in the bathroom for privacy. That window is well thought out as it makes the bathroom very bright!
The bathroom is well laid out with a spacious shower, toilet, sleek washbasin with matching vanity unit and mirror with lighting above. Another lovely space!
There is also a separate cupboard where the washing machine is placed and where you'll find the central heating boiler.
