Amsteldorp is a neighborhood in Watergraafsmeer in Amsterdam-East, near Amstelstation. The neighborhood is located along the east side of the Weespertrekvaart and is further bounded by Hugo de Vrieslaan, Gooiseweg, and Sportpark Drieburg. It consists of two areas: De Wetbuurt in the south and Tuindorp Amstelstation in the north. De Wetbuurt is named after De Wetstraat, which was renamed Fahrenheitstraat in 1922. The neighborhood dates from the 1920s, but there are also many houses from the 1950s. Tuindorp Amstelstation was built in 1947-'48 and was mainly intended for the elderly who lived in too large homes elsewhere in the city; this way, those homes became available for families with children.
LAYOUT (see floor plans)

The through-living room has enough space for a cozy sitting area, dining area, and the open kitchen. Adjacent is the garden facing southeast.
