Information about the Beautiful "Vecht" village of Breukelen:
The attractive village of Breukelen (about 14,500 inhabitants) has developed very well in recent years. Many nice shops have established themselves. Branches of large supermarkets such as Albert Heijn and Jumbo as well as a Hema, Kruitvat and Etos have also managed to find the village and can be reached on foot in 2 minutes. Various shops, cafés and restaurants including "Loetje", contribute to the liveliness and pleasant atmosphere of this beautiful historical village. The terrace of buitenplaats Slangevecht was voted the most beautiful terrace of the province of Utrecht in 2017.
