Description

This spacious villa with two private entrances and a large garden, is located in a quiet residential area, one of the most beautiful in Brouwershaven. Voorburglaan, where the property is located, is one of the few streets in Brouwershaven with only local traffic. This is living in peace and privacy. Special features: This is an umbrella house (there are only ten of these on the entire island) that may be occupied by multiple households. The house with extension is located on 526 m2 of land and has 564 m3 of capacity. The house has an external garage with roller door. The south-facing rear garden gives a view of the monumental St Nicholas church just down the road. The house has been renovated both inside and outside. The house, including the exterior walls, was recently painted and the roof was completely renewed and insulated in 2018. On the ground floor, there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. This is a bright home. The living room with open-plan kitchen has a pass-through function, allowing plenty of natural light into the living area. However, the house remains pleasantly cool in summer. The presence of six bedrooms and three bathrooms, combined with the large garden, makes the house fantastic for large families. The terrace at the back of the house has sun all day. A clear night gives a view of a starry sky like you rarely see anymore in the Netherlands. The clever layout with separate entrance, giving access to small living room, bathroom and bedroom, makes it easy for elderly parents to live here with a family with children. But of course, this space is also ideal as a practice or workspace. On the first floor, you will find two spacious bedrooms located that both have a balcony. The third bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin) of the house is very spacious and is also located on this floor. Furthermore, there is plenty of storage space here for storing things. The house can be moved into immediately. Own land The house is located on private land. Energy label The house has an energy label E. Measurement report The house is measured according to NEN 2580 and has a living area of 164 m2 and a capacity 560 m3. A measurement report is of course available. Brouwershaven and surroundings Brouwershaven is a 1-hour drive (via the Brouwersdam or the N59) from Rotterdam and a 1.5-hour drive from Antwerp. The most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands can be found within a 20-minute drive (Burgh-Haamstede) and the Brouwersdam, a 15-minute drive away, is a true kitesurfing and windsurfing mecca. Located directly on Lake Grevelingen, with a marina and sailing club, Brouwershaven is a water sports fan's dream. The historic town is bustling with activity in summer. The friendly atmosphere and hospitality of the residents make everyone feel welcome here. Brouwershaven has a relatively large number of amenities and various activities are undertaken by the local (sports) associations and scouts. These activities ensure that young and old need not be bored in their leisure time. There is an excellent bus service. For the GP and dentist, you can simply go to Brouwershaven. Working in the Randstad and living in beautiful Zeeland is a great option in Brouwershaven. Mini interview Why did you ever buy this house? I grew up in this house. It is my childhood home, where I had a great childhood. What are the main elements about the house that make it nice to live in? This is a great house to LIVE in. Cycling to the football club or the marina to put your surfboard or sailboat in the water. Wakeboarding on the Grevelingen, kite surfing or windsurfing on the North Sea at Brouwersdam. It is always quiet here and this part of Zeeland has the most sunshine in the country in percentage terms. The house is bright and, with the renovation, it has become a property where large families can live, you can invite friends over, and you can live with each other without bothering each other. The garden is big enough to plant a vegetable garden in and the terrace -which does need a refurbishment- can be made into the ultimate outdoor kitchen. What are the most appealing elements of the residential area? The location offers the best of both worlds; you live in a quiet area, but are in Rotterdam by car in just over an hour. In addition, all amenities are nearby; the primary school is less than a ten-minute walk away, bakery, supermarket and butcher can be found on the village square. And if you want a nice dinner out, you can do that too. Brouwershaven is lively in summer, but not overrun by tourists. In short, the best of all worlds. What is the reason for your departure? I myself live in the Randstad. With the new legislation making rentals and possible sales a lot more difficult, I made the difficult choice to sell this house now.
