Oranjewoud is a village with approximately 1600 inhabitants located east of Heerenveen. Surrounded by about 400 hectares of nature and hiking forests, it owes its name and history to the Oranges Royal Family, who founded many historical country estates with beautiful gardens from the 17th century onwards. Oranjewoud has quick access to the A32 (Steenwijk/Zwolle) and A7 (Joure) highway. Heerenveen is a 10-minute bike ride away.
HEERENVEEN
