Location

Within walking distance is the Fort of Uithoorn (part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam), a protected nature reserve and the Amstel River, among others. All desired facilities are within easy reach. Groceries can be bought in the Amstelplein shopping centre and the Oude Dorp, there is plenty of greenery in the area and there are primary schools and childcare facilities in the residential area. Uithoorn also has a wide range of sports clubs. Uithoorn is centrally located in the Randstad. By car, you are very quickly on the provincial road N201/ N196 and therefore also on various motorways. A bus stop is also located nearby at Amstelplein. In the future (around 2024), there will be an express tram connection between Uithoorn and Amsterdam, whose terminus will be in the Oude Dorp.
