Description
Welcome to your dream home!
This newly built house offers a unique combination of style, comfort, and sustainability. With a spacious volume of 1,000 m³ and a living area of approximately 190 m², you can enjoy peace and space here. A large covered area of 17 m² and a practical storage space of 21 m² complete the picture, along with a wide driveway that accommodates two cars.
The architecture of the house beautifully blends with the green surroundings, offering a living experience where light, views, and spaciousness take center stage. Thanks to innovative and sustainable solutions, including a heat pump, solar panels, and high-quality materials, you can enjoy a comfortable indoor climate and low energy costs.
The house has just been fully completed and is ready for delivery – so you don't need to account for extra financing during the construction period.
The finishing includes, among other things, plasterwork, stairs, installations, electrical switches/material, and excludes floor finishes, kitchen units, and sanitary facilities. Upon request or when scheduling a viewing, you will receive more detailed information about the condition of completion.

Rural Living
The property is located in the hamlet of 'Het Gehucht,' part of the zoning plan 'Veghels Buiten.' It forms an independent hamlet within an exceptionally beautiful green environment; living in 'Veghels Buiten' means living in the landscape. The hamlet lies to the south of Erpseweg, east of Langsteeg.
Enjoy peaceful living while still being close to all amenities: schools, shops, sports, and entertainment options are just a 5 to 10-minute bike ride away.
The hamlet refers to the old Brabantian rural communities. The entire Veghels Buiten area is inspired by the history and characteristic landscape of the Brabant countryside.
Veghel is conveniently located in the triangle of Den Bosch, Nijmegen, and Eindhoven, making these cities easily accessible via the nearby A50 highway.
The Architect
The concept of the house takes into account its location in relation to the surrounding landscape, along with energy and climatic considerations. The house is positioned at the outer edge of the hamlet, offering direct views of the landscape. To fully capitalize on this, the architect has chosen to place the living level approximately 130 cm above the garden level. This gives you a stunning view of the surrounding landscape, even from a seated position.
By situating the bedrooms in the basement and the living areas under the roof, an almost unprecedented sense of space is created in the living area. This is further enhanced by the open connection between the hallway/entrance and the living spaces.
When you take a look inside, you will experience firsthand what the architect aimed for with this concept: a beautiful spatial living experience and a harmonious interaction with the surroundings.
The bedrooms and bathroom are located in the basement, meaning they are partially below ground level. This allows them to maintain a relatively constant temperature throughout the year without using energy: comfortable in winter and fairly cool in summer.
With the low-temperature piping system of the heat pump climate system, the temperature can be regulated. On warm/hot summer days, the temperature can be slightly lowered, and on cold winter days, it can be heated. With very little energy, which is also generated by the solar panels, an ideal indoor climate/comfort is achieved.
The position of the external storage has been chosen so that there is enough space for two parking spaces at the street side, while also providing a special sense of privacy for the covered terrace.
The low eaves height of the front facade, along with the planting, creates a gentle transition into the landscape. This is also a key principle in the zoning plan. The rear facade is more than one and a half meters higher, creating a unique sense of spaciousness. This also results in attractive asymmetrical gable walls. The living space is equipped with several large glass openings, which, as previously mentioned, offer a beautiful view of the surroundings.
The facades consist mainly of high-quality dark brown clinker brick with additions of high-quality vertical wooden profile elements. These wooden additions are found in the right side facade, the horizontal strip in the front facade, as well as the finishing of the storage area, including the double access door and the finishing of the front door, continuing on both sides of the masonry entrance portal.
Sustainability, Materials/Construction
Sustainability encompasses many aspects. In addition to environmentally friendly extraction and production of materials, it also relates to the lifespan of these materials, coupled with low-frequency maintenance. Together, these factors determine the longevity and environmental friendliness of a building.
The house meets the so-called BENG requirements; that is, it is a Nearly Energy Neutral Building.
The house is equipped with a climate system with a heat pump, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (WTW), and 22 panels with a total area of 45 m² of solar panels.
To keep the energy demand as low as possible and the climate/comfort as high as possible, the applied building physics qualities are also of great importance. One of these qualities is the ability of a building to retain a certain temperature for a longer time. This has been achieved by using thicker inner wall layers. The outer walls are made of high-quality brick with very low water absorption, laid and pointed with a balanced prefabricated pointing mortar. This results in a very long lifespan with maintained aesthetic appeal.
The lintels above the windows/frames are made of powder-coated steel in the same color as the bricks. The sloped side walls above the roof are covered with corrugated cement fiber panels, also powder-coated to match the brick color. The exterior window frames, tilt-and-turn windows, and doors are made of high-quality mahogany. The hardware meets the political certification/resistance class 2.
The glazing consists of triple glazing/HR+++ with black spacer profiles. The previously described wooden additions are made of high-quality modified Fraké wood.
The roof structure consists of prefab insulated rafters/roof elements. The elements are covered with corrugated cement fiberboards in a color similar to the facades.
Directly under the ridge finishing, solar panels have been installed on both sides of the roof in an integrated system.
The concealed and visible rainwater drainage is made of zinc. The roofing on the canopy above the covered terrace, as well as the roofing on the entrance portal and storage area, consists of a two-layer bituminous roofing system. The soffits are finished with powder-coated aluminum sheets in the color of the facades.
The concrete stairs and terrace floor leading from the covered terrace to the garden are made of smooth (polished) concrete. The ceiling of the covered terrace is finished with plaster on cement fiberboard for outdoor use. The partitions of the approximately 50 cm deep so-called dormers at the window positions in the basement are made of corten steel.
