The apartment
Praamplein 31 is located on the first floor of the building, accessible by stairs or elevator. The front door of the apartment is accessible from a beautiful atrium.
The entrance to the house provides access to the toilet with sink, the bathroom with a washbasin and a shower cabin and a handy storage cupboard. This storage cupboard also houses the central heating boiler and the washing machine/dryer. Of course, the entrance also gives access to the living room with open kitchen. This is pleasantly laid out with a kitchenette at the front of the apartment and a seating area on the 'Punterstraat' side. There are patio doors with a French balcony with a nice view. The bedroom is also adjacent to the living room. Of a good size and equipped with a large cupboard wall. The apartment is located on the northeast of the complex, which keeps it pleasant and cool in the summer.
On the ground floor of the complex there is a (communal) bicycle shed and the car can be parked in the adjacent parking lot behind the barrier. Very nice in the center.
Aalsmeer
Aalsmeer is an attractive village in the Randstad. There is a rich club life and the Westeinderplassen form a unique recreational and nature reserve. Aalsmeer even has a beach along the Westeinder. The Pramenrace, the big fireworks and the festive week are an annual spectacle in September. But in addition, something is organized almost every week. From Art Route to culinary evenings, from beach volleyball tournament to classic car rally. There are many sports clubs, churches, a sailing school and surfing club, many marinas, plenty of catering establishments and the shops in Aalsmeer center offer ample options for both daily and non-daily shopping. Aalsmeer is easy to drive to and there are good public transport connections (express bus R-net) to Schiphol (change to circle line) and Hoofddorp (both NS stations), Haarlem, Amsterdam and Utrecht. Schiphol is only ten minutes away by car, and you can get there in fifteen minutes by bus. The center of Amsterdam can be reached within half an hour.
