The House
The entrance to the house is located on the side of the house, in the extension. Here is an ideal space for having a home-based profession, practice or other form of home office. A bedroom with bathroom could possibly be realized at this location. From this room, on the one hand, a storage room is accessible on the garden side, where, among other things, the pellet heating (2017) and solar boiler are located. The extension and the house at the front are connected by a large utility room where the connections for the washing machine, dryer and the toilet are located.
The ground floor of the house has been modernized over the years, but it also stylishly shows that it is a house from the 1950s. The balcony ceiling is visible and the kitchen and living room are separated. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4-burner induction hob with extractor hood, sink, dishwasher, oven and fridge-freezer combination. The living room has room for a sitting and dining area and a pellet stove has recently been installed here for extra atmosphere in the winter months. There are several windows for sufficient light.
First floor
Landing with adjacent bathroom and a bedroom at both the front and rear of the house. Both bedrooms are of an excellent size and have built-in cupboards concealed in the sloping part of the roof. The bathroom is complete with a bath, shower, second toilet and sink. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom.
Second floor
A fixed staircase provides access to the second floor. This has standing height and is ideal as storage space or an extra (bed) room.
Garden
The house is built on a generous plot of land of 815 m². There is sufficient space on site for parking (several) cars. The front garden is neatly arranged with various flowerbeds and the backyard is just as beautiful. A good mix of several terraces, plants, grass and storage spaces. One of the storage rooms has been transformed into a nice garden room, complete with a wood-burning stove and electricity. An ideal place to enjoy all year round. At the back of the garden is a large detached garage (63 m²). Various facilities have been extended from the house. There is (underfloor) heating, electricity, water and a toilet. The garage is accessible via a pedestrian door or a manually operated overhead door to park the car inside. There is a carport on the side of the garage, also for parking a car, and there is also approximately 100 m2 of land behind the garage. In short; plenty of space and possibilities!
Aalsmeer
Aalsmeer is a wonderful village to live in. Lots of greenery, a village character but still in the middle of the Randstad and a short distance from the major cities: The center of Amsterdam can be reached by car in the foreseeable future and it is even doable by bike. The route through the Amsterdamse Bos is surprisingly fun. The Zuidas is a short distance away and public transport is well organised. Aalsmeer-Oost and the adjacent Nieuw Oosteinde district are adjacent to Amstelveen. The Amsterdamse Bos is just around the corner for recreation, but there is also plenty to do in Aalsmeer itself, also cycling distance. Just take the unique nature and recreation area of the Westeinderplassen with catering establishments, the Westeinder beach and a variety of marinas.
