Home
Through the attached entrance you enter the hall with the toilet and the meter cupboard. The house was built in 1938 and at the time consisted only of what is now the living room. This cozy space still has many of the characteristics from that time: the beamed ceiling and the bay window at the front. The extra side windows provide pleasant light in the room and the beautiful floor gives the room extra character. An extension has been added to the living room, creating a spacious kitchen/diner. There is a tiled floor with underfloor heating and the kitchen is fully equipped: plenty of work space due to the worktops on either side of the kitchen, built-in appliances such as: dishwasher, combination microwave, oven and climate control cabinet, gas stove with extractor hood and plenty of storage space. From the kitchen you enter the garden and the modern bathroom is accessible. Here is a spacious walk-in shower, towel radiator and a double sink with furniture. The washing machine and dryer are neatly concealed, with work space above. The bathroom also has underfloor heating.
On the first floor there are three (bed)rooms and a second bathroom. The 'master bedroom' is located in a large roof extension at the back of the house. In addition, there are two more bedrooms, one at the front and one at the rear of the original house. At the front of the house, a dormer was placed in 2016. All three bedrooms have air conditioning. The second bathroom has a 2nd toilet, walk-in shower and sink in furniture.
In the attic, accessible via the staircase, is a fourth (bed)room and various storage space in the front attic.
Garden
Neatly tiled and a wonderful place to enjoy the sun in the summer months. There is a large terrace adjacent to the house with a double electrically operated sunscreen and at the back of the garden there is a large plastic shed with a porch. In the front garden, space has been made for parking several cars. There is also a charging point for an electric car.
Aalsmeer and Amstelveen.
Aalsmeer is a beautiful living environment. With lots of greenery, a village character and yet centrally located in the Randstad, it offers an ideal balance. The heart of Amsterdam is quickly accessible by car, and even by bicycle the route via the Amsterdamse Bos is very pleasant. The proximity of Schiphol, various arterial roads and well-organized public transport contribute to accessibility. The center of Aalsmeer is within cycling distance and is bustling with activities. Consider the unique nature and recreational area of the Westeinderplassen, with its various catering establishments, the Westeinder beach and a range of marinas.
The house also has no better location compared to Amstelveen. On the edge of the child-friendly residential area ''Westwijk'', with a tram to Amsterdam, a shopping center and schools. The large-scale shopping center ''Stadshart Amstelveen'' is also a short distance from the house. Here is an extensive range of shops, something for everyone.
