Groceries can be bought at the AH supermarket on Museumplein or at the Albert Cuyp day market, and the Cornelis Schuytstraat with all its speciality shops is a 5-minute bike ride away. The Museumplein itself is a beautiful green oasis in the middle of the neighbourhood, but also the Vondelpark and Beatrixpark are both within easy reach and let's not forget the fantastic Zuiderbad for daily lane swimming.
