About the location and neighbourhood:
This detached house is located in the Oostertocht neighbourhood of Heerhugowaard, on a fairly self-contained courtyard surrounded by water. As a result, there is virtually only destination traffic here, making it nice and quiet. Its location on the edge of the residential area also makes it easy to leave Heerhugowaard for a nice walk/cycle ride through the countryside. Despite the quiet location, all amenities are within easy reach: there are 2 supermarkets located within a kilometre of the house and the largest indoor shopping centre in North Holland, "Middenwaard", is only 2 kilometres away.
Day care and primary schools are within walking distance of the house and at cycling distance you will find the railway station and several secondary schools. In the city park "Park van Luna", you can enjoy recreation in the greenery and here you can even sunbathe and swim at a city beach. The roads to Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Hoorn and the coast are also easy to reach.
