LOCATION
Daalhof is bordered by the neighborhoods Hazendans and Belfort in the north, Mariaberg in the east, Campagne and Wolder in the south and the border with Belgium (municipality of Lanaken and municipality of Riemst) in the west.
Daalhof is literally built against the border with Belgium. At some houses, for example at the Drusushof, the border of the garden is also the national border. Some gardens extend into Belgium. There are a number of border crossings between Daalhof and Belgium, in most cases no more than country roads that cross the border almost unnoticed. The border crossings are from north to south: the Drenkelingsweg (almost impassable because of the clay excavations of Veldwezelt-Hezerwater), the Vlijtingerweg, the Romeinsebaan and the path between the extension of the Numitorhof and the Albert Canal near Vroenhoven.
