There are two spacious bedrooms on this floor, both with large closets. Now the bedrooms are furnished as a nursery, but there is enough space to put a double bed. From the front bedroom you look at the quiet street and at the back to the park with beautiful trees.
The bathroom is well laid out with a walk-in shower, wall closet, washbasin, a tall radiator and a convenient closet with laundry baskets. A large mirror hangs above the sink and the two-door cabinet under the sink offers plenty of storage space.
Second floor:
The dormer windows provide lots of extra space and light on the second floor. From the landing you step into the master bedroom, where an air conditioning unit hangs and where the wall behind the bed is beautifully finished with wood. In the slope of the roof is storage space and there is even a place to put a desk. At the front is another room, furnished as storage and laundry room. Behind the sliding doors you can store many things, as well as in the attic.
Garden:
Most of the front yard, along with the neighbors, is paved. This gives you the opportunity to put pots of flowers and plants yourself. The backyard on the sunny south is a great place for sun lovers. In the corner is a shed and through the gate you can walk through the path to the park where children can play.

Surroundings:
Monnickendam is an old fortified town on the IJsselmeer and is home to one of the largest marinas in the Netherlands. Monnickendam has no less than 74 national monuments including the dam sluice, the wooden drawbridge and a number of houses with special facades. The center with stores, specialty stores and restaurants is a popular, atmospheric place brimming with history.
