Description
Open House on Wednesday, March 13 between 3pm and 4.30pm!
The property will be sold by tender. The closing date is Tuesday 19 March at noon.
On a quiet street, overlooking a green strip and ornamental water, lies this partly to be modernised terraced house with a living area of approximately 123 m2. The property is located in the residential area of Thamerdal, within walking distance of childcare and a primary school but also close to shopping centre Amstelplein, the lively Old Village and the Zijdelmeer.
Due to personal circumstances, the current owners are not able to finish the renovation that has already started and this offers the future owner the opportunity to take on this project, according to his taste and idea.
Layout
Ground floor
Entry into the hall with the toilet, staircase and meter cupboard. The through lounge, with a bay window at the front and a door to the back garden, is lovely and light. It is possible to place a wood-burning stove, for example, but there is also underfloor heating. The closed kitchen, with L-shaped kitchen unit, is equipped with an induction hob, oven and dishwasher. In the kitchen, there is also access to the pantry that offers extra storage space.
First floor
Landing with a fixed staircase to the second floor and a storage cupboard. There are two bedrooms with the former bathroom in between. The front bedroom has washer and dryer connections. There is also a third, small bedroom. The largely renovated and enlarged bathroom has a sunken bathtub, walk-in shower and washbasin. The ceiling is finished with recessed spotlights and there is a large window.
Second floor
Landing with a storage room at the back containing the central heating boiler. At the front is the second bathroom. This is finished in black and white, equipped with a walk-in shower, 3rd toilet and a washbasin. Also on this floor is the large (fourth) bedroom. This room has recessed spotlights and offers a nice amount of space due to the two large dormers.
Garden
The front garden is largely tiled and features an L-shaped plant border. The garden overlooks a green belt and ornamental water. In front of the door there is opportunity to park the car on the public road.
There is a largely tiled rear garden, facing north-east. In the garden is a stone shed of approximately 9 m2 in size which is equipped with electricity. The backyard is accessible via a back entrance.
Location
The property has a central, quiet location and is situated in the residential area of Thamerdal. This neighbourhood is conveniently located a relatively short distance from the Zijdelwaard and Amstelplein shopping centres and the Old Village of Uithoorn. In the old village centre, you will find various shops and cosy catering establishments along the Amstel river. Within walking distance are childcare facilities, various schools (up to grammar school) and a bus station.
In July 2024, the express tram 25 from Station Zuid in Amsterdam, via Zuidas/WTC and Amstelveen to Uithoorn will become operational. The terminus stop is about 800 metres away in the Old Village.
From Uithoorn, there are good connections with arterial roads to major cities such as Amstelveen, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hoofddorp and also Schiphol Airport. There are also many (sports) clubs in the vicinity.
