Description

De Nieuwe Meenskamp country house - living together on a heavenly plot Are you looking for a green pleasure garden, with plenty of privacy and space for kangaroo living? Then we have a beautiful family home in our portfolio that you will definitely want to see. In the exceptionally beautiful outskirts of Wichmond, Vierakker and Baak, on the Baaksche Beek, lies a very special property; not only is it completely tucked away in the greenery and with a considerable distance from the road, the house also contains two homes. The ensemble is completed by a spectacular garden. This beautiful country house was built in 2007/2008 on the site of farm De Nieuwe Meenskamp, which dated back to 1822. The first occupant of the then farmhouse was a tanner and it had to sit for clean water at the Baaksche Beek. Today, number 16 is reaping the benefits of this, as such long driveways and living quarters are rarely found in the Netherlands. The villa, which is in perfect condition and excels in sleek, high-quality finishes, was built to look like a whole - even in the context of the landscape - but is in design a double dwelling. The thatched roof with its friendly, semi-circular dormers perfectly suits the rural character of the house. A palette of white and gray tones was chosen on the right side, with wood and natural stone, while the left side has a more natural-colored scheme, with the warmth of travertine and white woodwork, with red as a color touch. Wichmond is a cute little village, fused with nearby Vierakker. There is much natural beauty, and also the many farms, the impressive St. Willibrordus Church and estates such as 't Suideras, give the area special cachet. All amenities are available in the vicinity, but should you have a need for the big city, you can be in Zutphen in ten minutes. Thus, this region offers you the cream of two worlds. Left side: Entrance into the hall. Here the stairs to the floor and the WC with hand basin. The first floor has a travertine floor with tiles in Romanesque bond, which immediately creates a sense of nostalgia. Immediately to the left is the study, with its large windows and corresponding beautiful views. Then the living room with dining area, a wonderful space! At the front there is a large, semi-circular bay window, with doors to the sun terrace on the southwest and the garden. In the living room a cozy gas fireplace. From the dining area access to the kitchen. Which is completely custom and handcrafted. The cream-colored fronts and the checkered sink give it a rural character; really a beautiful fitting kitchen in this house. There is a beautiful Boretti stove with four burners, a hot air oven and a built-in pantry. From the kitchen access to the utility room, with the central heating boiler, sink and connections for washer and dryer. Upstairs a bright landing and oxblood red doors, a color traditionally used in this area. Here are two spacious bedrooms, one with walk-in closet. There is also a nice bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower, WC and sink. From the landing, the storage attic can be reached by vlizo, so the baubles and winter wardrobe also have a great place to stay. Right side: On the right side mirrors the design of the hall: with the staircase and the WC with basin. On the floor here dark gray natural stone in Romanesque bond, stylish and chic. A spacious and bright, L-shaped living room, with the view at the front and a beautiful glass bay window with access to the terrace on the right, for a cup of coffee in the morning sun. The kitchen is - as on the other side - straight out of a home magazine; cream-colored, sturdy fronts, the checkered sink and a Boretti stove with convection oven. The pantry is also a repeat of clever moves: from the kitchen access to the utility room, with the central heating boiler and connections for washer and dryer. Upstairs a bright landing with gray doors, three spacious bedrooms, one with a walk-in closet. The bathroom is beautifully designed, with a bathtub, walk-in shower WC and sink. Also here from the landing is access to the spacious storage attic. Outdoor space - Open garden day every day! When this plot was developed, a beautiful green plan was drawn up, and now, years later, there is plenty to enjoy the result. It has become a large landscaped garden, with old trees and new greenery, a beautiful pond, beech hedges that indicate old structures, orchards, colorful borders and hedgerows to give the image here and there depth. How beautiful it is there! Whether you take a walk in your own garden, or seek a spot in the sun, everything is possible here. For practical matters, such as parking the riding mower and storing the tools, the old cattle shed has been put to use as a garage and storage room. For fun, there is also a roof here, a loggia for the warm summer evenings outside. In short, would you like to live together under one roof? So your parents, or just your children, can enjoy all this beauty of the Baaksche Beek together with you? Then contact us, we would love to show you this beautiful country house.
