Our office is located in the beautiful Regentessekwartier of The Hague, but our services focus on the whole of The Hague, Voorburg, Leidschendam, Rijswijk, Pijnacker, Nootdorp, Delft and Zoetermeer.

Leegstra NVM Makelaardij is an active office with professional, experienced and solution-oriented employees who are fully committed to every client. Started in 1992 with an office on Apeldoornselaan, moved to Laan van Meerdervoort 428 in 2000 and now, after a challenging renovation, moved in August 2012 to a larger office with two separate consultation rooms in a beautiful building in a better visible location, namely Regentesselaan 1/corner Laan van Meerdervoort on the border of the Duinoord and Regentessekwartier districts.

The office has over 30 years of experience in all facets of real estate. Rick Verhaar has been working at our office since 2014 as a certified NVM Register real estate agent-valuer o.z. Jaimy Schmitt made the switch from the catering industry in the summer of 2020 and has been a certified candidate real estate agent since the summer of 2022 and also an NVM real estate agent since the fall of 2024. Early 2025, Jaimy and Rick took over the office to continue the work of founder Paul Leegstra. Paul still works for the office as a senior advisor. Nicolette Amptmeijer is our experienced internal employee and takes care of the management and financial administration.

Because the versatility in real estate appeals to us so much, we do not specialize in one specific branch of real estate, but we advise on the purchase and sale, and rental and leasing of homes, shops, offices and other business premises and we provide valuations.

We also manage approximately 400 homes and shops for private landlords and we provide divisions into apartment rights.

For mortgages, we refer our clients to Fisher Assurantiën on Valeriusstraat, with whom we have had good experiences.

As a small office, we do not have too many homes for sale or rental at the same time, so that all four of us are aware of the status of our portfolio and can personally supervise each assignment, from the first intake interview to delivery and transfer.

In some cases, we supervise maintenance or renovation work before sale or after purchase. For this, we can recommend various contractors who have been working for us professionally and at affordable prices for many years. Our main goal is a satisfied client. That is why we are pleased that we are increasingly receiving purchase or sale orders from clients for whom we have previously bought or sold a home. And for a number of satisfied clients, we have brought a combination order (search order and sale of the old home) to a good result for the second time.
