Within walking distance is an abundance of nice places to eat: from trendy restaurants to cosy cafés, such as Bar Baarsch, café Hendrix, café Thuys, restaurant Faam and Terrasmus in the delightful Erasmuspark, you have everything close at hand here. The Food and Filmhallen and Theatre Podium Mozaïek are also easily accessible and nice to spend an evening with a film or concert.
A few minutes' walk away is a tram stop on Admiraal de Ruijterweg, where line 19 goes to Sloterdijk Station on the one hand and into the city through Oud West on the other.
By bike or on foot, you'll be at De Hallen, the cultural heart of West, with a great range of cinemas, a unique amount of eateries together and, of course, the Public Library and the Ten Katemarkt.
