The economical central heating boiler is reasonably new and does not need to be replaced. The floor is not insulated and this is also not really possible in the kitchen, which is why the effect of floor insulation has not been calculated (is expected to be minimal). The floor above the unheated cellar is not insulated, if this were to be insulated (Rc = min. 3.5), the label would remain ‘C’. The property has quite a lot of windows and not a lot of bricks in the façades, making it less likely for the next occupant to insulate the façade (Rc = min. 3.5). This has however been calculated and insulating the facades would change the current label ‘C’ to ‘B’.
