At Berkenweide 6 you will find a semi-bungalow from 1974 with an attached garage of almost 21 m2 that can be reached from the inside, a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 1st floor and a lovely both west and north facing back garden with various terraces. The house has a free view at the front. It has a deep garden at the front, next a footpath and then a municipal park opposite your house. No busy traffic and the possibility to park 2 cars on the long garage path. Despite the fact that the ground floor has recently been fitted with double glazing, there is still room for improvement in terms of insulation. GROUND FLOOR Through the front door you reach the entrance/hall of the house with the meter cupboard, the toilet and the stairs to the 1st floor. Then you walk into the street-facing living room. The kitchen unit is neat but simple and fairly dated. You can give it your own interpretation. On the floor of the kitchen you will find a small brown tile. BEDROOM DOWNSTAIRS Via the kitchen you enter the extension at the rear where you will first find a central hallway. From the hallway you can reach the bedroom at the rear and the garage. In the bedroom too a hardwood laminated parquet on the floor and sufficient space for a wardrobe wall. The bedroom has a separate shower room. The washbasin is located in the bedroom itself. The toilet in the hallway of the house is still fairly standard, but everything has been maintained and is functioning well. Of course here too the possibility to make your own choice for a more modern version. 1st FLOOR On the first floor, you have access to 3 bedrooms and the bathroom from the landing. 2 of the bedrooms are located at the rear of the house, the 3rd is at the front. The bathroom was built with a dormer window. Due to the steep slope of the roof, the bedrooms are of a good size. The floors of the bedrooms are made of white painted wooden parts. The windows are fitted with single glazing. There is still some energy gain to be made here. BATHROOM The bathroom is equipped with a shower in a white steel bath, a porcelain washbasin and a 2nd toilet (which was very progressive for 1974!). The bathroom is also well maintained and functioning jut fine. But many will want to give it their own interpretation. ATTIC The loft of the house can be reached via a loft ladder in the largest bedroom at the rear. Here you find the central heating boiler: Remeha Avanta 35C gas-fired combi boiler from 2011. In addition to a good place for this boiler, you of course have a lot of storage space at your disposal here. GARDEN LOCATION The backyard is oriented to the north, but due to its shape you can also say that a large part is oriented to the west. In fact, you can say here that you always have the sun somewhere in the garden. The garden itself also deserves some love and attention. Within 10 minutes you can reach Hoorn by car or you can be on the A7 motorway towards Amsterdam and Heerhugowaard.
