Alberdingk Thijmstraat is an attractive street with plenty of greenery in the heart of the Oud West district of Amsterdam, a highly sought-after area due to its quiet yet warm ambience. It was eventually replaced by the buildings near the corner of Stadhouderskade and Eerste Helmersstraat.
