Description
Starters beware! Centrally located is this bright and practically laid-out 2-bedroom flat of 65 m² with a sheltered south-facing balcony. The property is very easily accessible and many amenities can be found nearby. The North/South line stop and Buikslotermeerplein with a wide range of shops for daily shopping, among other things, are within walking distance.
The flat exudes a peaceful atmosphere and is located in a well-maintained small complex built in 1981. The complex was designed by architect Frans van Gool, which is noticeable in the sense of peace and seclusion you experience when you move into the apartment.
The layout is as follows:
You enter the neat communal tidy hall through a lockable entrance door.
The central inner hall has access to the letterboxes, the storerooms and the lift.
First floor:
The entrance is on the first floor. You enter the hall where you will find a corridor with wardrobe, meter cupboard and the door to the bedroom on the right. At the end of the hall is the spacious living room with open kitchen.
The bedroom located at the quiet front of the house is large enough to fit a double bed, wardrobe and a desk.
Down the hall, there is a storage room and the bathroom which is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink and washing machine connection.
The bright, sun-oriented living room with semi-open kitchen has access to the sunny balcony across the entire width of the house, with access to the green strip behind the apartment complex. At the window, a radiator cover has been placed so that you can sit on it, enjoying a cup of coffee in the sun.
The corner kitchen has a suspended ceiling with recessed spotlights and is equipped with various built-in appliances, such as a 4-burner gas hob, extractor hood, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
There is a beautiful bamboo parquet flooring (2018) throughout the house.
In the basement, you have access to a spacious storage room with space for bicycles, which can be accessed from the central inner hall or from outside.
The flat is located on municipal leasehold land, General Provisions 1966. The annual fixed canon amounts to € 836,88 per year until 01-04-2030, after which the canon is bought off perpetually by the current owner.

The complex is very centrally located in a quieter part of Amsterdam North, but close to various amenities. For daily shopping, shopping centre Boven 't Y is within walking distance and so is the market and the multiplex cinema "Pathé Amsterdam Noord".
Swinging on top of the Adam Tower, film museum EYE, the Tolhuistuin with a (Paradiso) concert hall, or back in time at café 't Sluisje on the waterfront on Nieuwendammerdijk is all within short cycling distance. There is also plenty of cultural offerings at both the former NDSM wharf, as well as on the Stork grounds on the east bank with studios, festivals and many young fresh initiatives in all kinds of fields. And a quiet walk or bike ride through rural North is always within reach too.
Parking is available in front of the door. By car, you can be on the A10 ring road within minutes, as well as in the heart of Amsterdam via the IJtunnel.
The North-South line is a 5-minute walk away and travels to Amsterdam Central Station in a few minutes, and via the Pijp area to the Zuidas in 14 minutes!
You can park your car with a permit (Noord 1). It is also possible to apply for a second permit in this area.
Noord is hip & happening, you'll find everything you could wish for. And for the other parts of Amsterdam, all the ferries crossing the IJ can be cycled in less than 15 minutes.
