The building, in the "Traditional Building" style, has remained virtually unchanged since then, although the smoking facility ceased operations long ago. The wooden shutters were replaced with windows. In 1977, it was offered as a "Very solid little warehouse with three empty floors." Now, it is a fantastic home brimming with character and comfort, in a beautiful location in Amsterdam. Surroundings: Buiten Vissersstraat is a quiet, one-way street, only 32 meters long and 7 meters wide, and centuries old; it appears on maps from around 1600. It is located in the core zone of the canal ring, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This puts you in a characterful and charming neighborhood in the city center.
